Ian Polson vs Frasier Hugo

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 11/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Poison Ian Polson (34(33) - 2(2)) who hails from Oceanside, USA and Frasier Hugo(12 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Polson and Hugo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Christopher, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Pasha, Stuart Purcell and Spencer Lenney.  

Round 1: 

Polson is on target with a stiff jab.  Polson attempts to land a jab, but Hugo dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hugo advances into close range.  Polson lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hugo almost instantly recovers. 
Hugo is looking to keep his distance.  Polson lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Hugo almost instantly recovers. 
Polson advances into close range and drives a telling right hook into his opponents body.  HUGO IS HURT!  Hugo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Polson drives a left hook into Hugo's body.  
Polson tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Polson steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Hugo steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Hugo tries to keep the action at long range.  Polson snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.

Polson gets on the inside.  Polson pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hugo is on target with a right uppercut.  
Hugo advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Hugo throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hugo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hugo throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE left hook.  HUGO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hugo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hugo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Hugo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Hugo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Polson lands with a solid jab.  
Hugo connects with an overhand left.  Hugo tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Polson is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a stinging cross.  
Hugo lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Hugo tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Polson switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Polson's ribs.  
Polson lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Polson tries to keep the action at long range.  Polson stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Hugo attempts to land a jab, but Polson slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hugo steps inside.  Polson lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HUGO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
The right shot from Polson could be enough to force the stoppage!  Polson lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HUGO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Hugo now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Hugo strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Polson knows Hugo is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Polson lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HUGO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Polson lands a FIERCE cross.  HUGO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT HUGO CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Polson!
