Jonathan Winquist vs Davie Hopes

Boxing Daily Report from the Badoe Promotions promoted show at Indianapolis Hutton, Indianapolis,  taking place on 08/07/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Great Lakes Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Winquist (16(2) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Columbus, USA and Davie Hopes(18 - 13(1) - 2) from Indianapolis, USA.  Both Winquist and Hopes weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Sandison, and the three ringside judges are Joseph Nicolson, Glynn Eason and Jamie Craig.  

Round 1: 

Winquist gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

As they grapple, Winquist pushes his forearm into Hopes's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Winquist about fouling.

Winquist lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Winquist clinches his opponent.  Winquist uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hopes behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Winquist.
