Robert Glass vs Nick Dovey

Boxing Daily Report from the Kayo Promotions promoted show at Festival Hall, Melbourne,  taking place on 09/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Robert Glass (9(1) - 0) who hails from Canberra, Australia and Nick Dovey(2 - 3(1) - 2) from Canberra, Australia.  Both Glass and Dovey weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Beatty, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Savas, Hugh Collins and Chris Mellis.  

Round 1: 

Glass is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dovey dabs at his face checking for damage.  Dovey has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Glass tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dovey advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Glass lands two straights followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Glass steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp jab.
