Rashid Minhas vs Azubuike Akilu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at D'Rovans Hotel, Ibadan,  taking place on 13/07/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Oyo State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rashid Minhas (7 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Ibadan, Nigeria and Azubuike Akilu(16 - 6 - 2) from Ogbomosho, Nigeria.  Minhas weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces, while Akilu weighed in at 175 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Akilu came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.
