Charlie Akre vs John Pew

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Casino Miami Jai Alai, Miami,  taking place on 11/08/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are The Cardinal Charlie Akre (9(7) - 0) who hails from St. Louis, USA and John Pew(4 - 12(2)) from Surprise, USA.  Both Akre and Pew weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Kinion, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Poyner, Paul Maskell and Robert Keys.  

Round 1: 

Akre gets on the inside and lands a solid right uppercut.  Akre ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Akre pushes his forearm into Pew's face.  The referee warns Akre and breaks the clinch.

Akre walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Akre lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Akre lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Akre digs in a left uppercut to Pew's ribs.  
Akre sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Akre lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Pew steps away from his opponent.  Akre lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.
