Oro Alvarado vs Enzo Cendejas

Boxing Daily Report from the Kayo Promotions promoted show at Foro Polanco, Mexico City,  taking place on 03/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Oro Alvarado (13(4) - 2 - 1) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Enzo Cendejas(24 - 19(1) - 3) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Alvarado and Cendejas weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emanuel Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Villasenor, Aimon Campillo and Rodrigo Arguello.  

Round 1: 

Alvarado lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Alvarado advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to Cendejas's body.  
Alvarado lands a cross.  
Alvarado gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Alvarado clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Alvarado pushes his forearm into Cendejas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Alvarado.  
Alvarado lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Alvarado steps inside.  Cendejas pivots from in front of his opponent.  Alvarado lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Alvarado ties up his opponent.  Alvarado uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cendejas behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Alvarado throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Alvarado holds on to his opponent.  Alvarado is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Alvarado closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Alvarado drives a sharp left hook into Cendejas's body.  
Alvarado is on target with a solid left hook.  
Alvarado lands a left hook.  Alvarado ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Alvarado connects with a right hook.  
Alvarado lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cendejas feints a left, and then is on target with a cross.  
Alvarado pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into Cendejas's ribs.  
Cendejas connects with a cross.  
Alvarado lands a cross.  
Alvarado gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Cendejas's ribcage.  
Alvarado closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Alvarado digs in a firm left uppercut to Cendejas's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cendejas's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Cendejas's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Alvarado is looking to close the distance.  Alvarado pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Cendejas is on target with a right uppercut to Alvarado's ribs.  
Alvarado gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Alvarado clinches his opponent.  Alvarado pushes his forearm into Cendejas's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Alvarado to stop fouling.  
Alvarado connects with a sharp right hook.  
Alvarado lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Alvarado clinches his opponent.  Alvarado tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cendejas behind the head. The referee warns Alvarado and breaks the clinch.

Alvarado knows Cendejas is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Alvarado lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CENDEJAS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Cendejas now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Alvarado gets on the inside.  The right shot from Alvarado could be enough to force the stoppage!  Alvarado EXPLODES a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  CENDEJAS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Cendejas is looking to keep his distance.  Alvarado lands two left uppercuts followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS CENDEJAS TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Alvarado!
