John Dougherty vs Ciaran MacConnell

Boxing Daily Report from the Leprechaun Promotions promoted show at Bangor MacClery, Bangor,  taking place on 18/07/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern Ireland Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Dougherty (3 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Belfast, UK and Ciaran MacConnell(13 - 5 - 2) from Bangor, UK.  Both Dougherty and MacConnell weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cillian Dolan, and the three ringside judges are Anthony McCabe, Eoin McPhee and Clint Guild.  

Round 1: 

MacConnell closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.
