Rob Villena vs Declan Baldwin

Boxing Daily Report from the Steel City Boxing promoted show at The Electric Factory, Philadelphia,  taking place on 31/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob Villena (7(6) - 1) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Declan Baldwin(9 - 7(2) - 2) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Villena and Baldwin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Briar, and the three ringside judges are Ben Begue, Colin Blood and Rex Cowper.  

Round 1: 

Villena gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Villena closes the distance and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Villena lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Villena steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Villena advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Villena lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS BALDWIN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Baldwin quickly recovers. 
Villena digs in a left hook to Baldwin's liver.  Villena holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Villena pushes his forearm into Baldwin's face.  The ref breaks Villena's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Villena steps inside and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Villena digs in a sharp left hook to Baldwin's liver.  
Villena steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Baldwin in the blue corner.  Villena lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Villena tries to land a cross, but Baldwin dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Villena is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Villena ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Villena pushes his forearm into Baldwin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Villena about fouling.  
Villena lands a CRUSHING cross.  BALDWIN IS HURT!  Baldwin quickly recovers. 
Villena advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Villena is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Villena steps inside and slams a nasty left hook into Baldwin's liver.  BALDWIN IS HURT!  Baldwin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Villena lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Villena quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Baldwin drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Villena lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Baldwin's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Baldwin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Baldwin's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Villena advances into close range and is on target with a potent right hook to his opponents ribs.  BALDWIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Villena holds on to his opponent.  Villena tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Baldwin behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Baldwin almost instantly recovers. 
Villena lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Villena walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Villena lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Villena is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Baldwin's liver.  
Villena advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Villena sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Baldwin is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Villena senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Baldwin and just needs the right shot.  Villena lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS BALDWIN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Baldwin has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Villena forces Baldwin to retreat into the blue corner.  Villena hits home with a firm left hook.

Villena closes the distance.  Villena sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a spiteful left hook.  BALDWIN IS DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Villena!
