Ian Appiah vs Mark Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Antwi, Accra,  taking place on 24/07/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Appiah (11 - 7(3) - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Mark Appiah(23 - 15(4) - 4) from Accra, Ghana.  Ian weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces, while Mark weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt Ado, and the three ringside judges are Leighton Kwei, Chris Dokuaa and Malik Hussain.  

Round 1: 

Ian is looking to close the distance and connects with a left uppercut.
