Yoshi Bando vs Mitsuru Nishi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Imada, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yoshi Bando (12 - 25 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Mitsuru Nishi(15(2) - 2(1)) from Asahikawa, Japan.  Bando weighed in at 126 pounds, while Nishi weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Takamoto, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Yasui, Yuichi Sano and Fumio Ogura.  

Round 1: 

Nishi closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Nishi tries to land a right hook, but Bando blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
