Iwao Nii vs Jiro Kaneshiro

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Furuya, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/07/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Nii (15 - 5(1)) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Jiro Kaneshiro(1 - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Nii and Kaneshiro weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Tanabe, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Aoki, Raiden Machida and Satoru Yasui.  

Round 1: 

Nii gets on the inside.  Kaneshiro throws a right hook, but Nii holds on to his opponent.  Nii pushes his forearm into Kaneshiro's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nii to stop fouling.  
Nii lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kaneshiro switches the action to the outside.  Nii hits home with a firm cross.  Nii throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Nii lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Nii lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Nii lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Nii clinches his opponent.  Nii pushes his forearm into Kaneshiro's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nii.  
Kaneshiro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nii hits home with a left hook.  Nii attempts to land a cross, but Kaneshiro blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Nii advances into close range.  Kaneshiro throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Nii forces Kaneshiro to back into the ropes.  Nii tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nii lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kaneshiro attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Nii's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kaneshiro's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kaneshiro's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
