Gethin Williams vs Fresco Torrez

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 15/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gethin the Truth Williams (56(46) - 2(1)) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Fresco Torrez(31(6) - 24(18)) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Williams and Torrez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Kay, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Hall, John Gourley and Kieran Smail.

Williams feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Williams switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Williams tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Torrez quickly recovers. 
Torrez advances into close range and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Torrez drives a left uppercut into Williams's ribs.  
Williams switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Williams steps away from his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Torrez's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Torrez's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Torrez's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
