Majid Abad vs Majid Zia

Boxing Daily Report from the Sultan's Fists promoted show at Johor Bahru Kaba, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 30/07/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Majid Abad (16(9) - 4(3)) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Majid Zia(4 - 3 - 1) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Abad and Zia weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Sabet, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Hossain, Khalid Lodhi and Azam Hamdan.  

Round 1: 

Zia lands a jab.  
Zia tries to keep the action at long range.  Abad is on target with a sharp cross.  
Abad lands a left hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  
Abad closes the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Abad quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abad digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Abad holds on to his opponent.  Abad is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Abad and breaks the clinch.  As Abad tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Zia has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Abad is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Abad lands a stinging left hook.  Abad clinches his opponent.  Abad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Abad pushes his forearm into Zia's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Abad about fouling.  
Abad lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Abad clinches his opponent.  Abad leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abad lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Zia is looking to keep his distance.  Abad lands an overhand left.  
Abad advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Abad tries to land a right hook, but Zia blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Abad lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Abad holds on to his opponent.  Abad is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abad digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Abad lands a left uppercut.  
Abad advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Zia switches the action to the outside.  Abad hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Abad connects with a cross.  
Abad manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Abad lands a right uppercut.  
Abad is on target with a right hook.  
Abad lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Abad is on target with a solid right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zia's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Zia's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Zia's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Abad lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Abad clinches his opponent.  Abad leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abad digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Abad is on target with a right hook.  
Abad digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abad tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abad hits home with a right hook.  
Abad pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Abad lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Abad advances into close range.  Abad drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Abad clinches his opponent.  Abad hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abad to stop fouling.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Abad dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Abad lands two right hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Abad is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Abad holds on to his opponent.  Abad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Abad's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Zia switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  Zia throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Abad closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Abad steps inside and forces Zia to retreat into the red corner.  Abad lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Abad thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Zia away.  Abad lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES ZIA!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Abad lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS ZIA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Abad lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS ZIA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Zia now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Abad pivots to the right of his opponent.  Abad lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Abad holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abad knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Abad lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ZIA!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Zia can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Abad!
