Ian Strang vs Mairo Kakewahine

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Brett Cammon Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 30/07/2040:

Clearly Kiwi Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Strang (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mairo Kakewahine(3 - 3 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Strang and Kakewahine weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Erorangi Muunu, and the three ringside judges are Mel Binner, Mason Bethel and Will Swaney.  

Round 1: 

Strang throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
