Boxing Daily Report from the Steel City Boxing promoted show at The Palestra, Philadelphia,  taking place on 05/09/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sean Meredith (20(12) - 3(3) - 3) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Callum Omans(28(4) - 9(7)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Meredith and Omans weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Duchamp, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Power, Malcolm Kuntzman and Theo Abbey.  

Round 1: 

Meredith switches the action to the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Meredith is on target with a stiff jab.  
Meredith steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Omans gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Meredith switches the action to the outside and is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Meredith lands a spiteful jab.  
Omans is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Meredith on the ropes.  Meredith lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Omans digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Meredith holds on to his opponent.  Omans is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Meredith lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Omans is looking to close the distance.  Meredith is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Meredith lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS OMANS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Omans has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Meredith EXPLODES a FIERCE cross into his opponents face.  OMANS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Omans almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Omans advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Meredith on the ropes.  Omans lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Omans gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Meredith's liver.  
Meredith switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Meredith lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Meredith attempts to land a jab, but Omans blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Omans lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Meredith tries to keep the action at long range.  Omans sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Meredith lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Omans closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Omans lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Omans throws a left uppercut, but Meredith holds on to his opponent.  Meredith is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Meredith about fouling.  
Meredith steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Meredith throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Omans is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook.  Meredith clinches his opponent.  Omans is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Omans to stop fouling.  
Meredith is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Omans steps inside and digs in a right hook to Meredith's body.  
Meredith is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Omans quickly recovers. 
Meredith lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Meredith lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Meredith feints a left hook, and then lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Omans almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Meredith switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head, AND DROPS OMANS TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Meredith!
