Bryn Copeland vs Mel Proffitt

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Spotswood, Christchurch,  taking place on 31/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bryn Copeland (5 - 2 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Mel Proffitt(4 - 9 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Copeland weighed in at 168 pounds, while Proffitt weighed in at 168 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Proffitt came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.
