Steven Bricken vs Mike Shearer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alaska promoted show at Anchorage Rhoderick, Anchorage,  taking place on 07/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Bricken (20 - 11(1) - 1) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Mike Shearer(8(4) - 1) from Anchorage, USA.  Bricken weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Shearer weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Chisolm, and the three ringside judges are Joe Routledge, Felix Campbell and David Edmiston.  

Round 1: 

Bricken is looking to keep his distance.  Bricken quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shearer connects with a cross.
