Lewis Peart vs Michael Adger

Boxing Daily Report from the Kessels Promotions promoted show at DBA Gym, New Orleans,  taking place on 08/08/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Louisiana Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lewis Peart (9(1) - 1) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Michael Adger(5 - 2(2) - 1) from Baton Rouge, USA.  Peart weighed in at 140 pounds, while Adger weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Grieve, and the three ringside judges are Ian de Vigny, Patrick Parro and Blake Anger.

Peart digs in a left hook to Adger's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Peart has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
