Lucas Griff vs Steven McIntyre

Boxing Daily Report from the Western Promotions promoted show at Western Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 23/07/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lucas Griff (1 - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Steven McIntyre(1 - 5) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Griff and McIntyre weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Ardis, and the three ringside judges are John Kissick, Brendan Stronach and Gregor Dolan.  

Round 1: 

McIntyre is looking to close the distance.  Griff drives a left hook into McIntyre's body.

McIntyre quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Griff lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McIntyre throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Griff is looking to close the distance and lands a solid right hook.  
Griff drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Griff lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Griff steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
McIntyre closes the distance.  Griff lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Griff clinches his opponent.  Griff pushes his forearm into McIntyre's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Griff.  
McIntyre lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
McIntyre advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.
