Amer Imam vs Jiang Woo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at SM MOA Arena, Manila,  taking place on 22/09/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Asia-Oceania Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer Imam (37(32) - 7(7)) who hails from Imus, Philippines and Jiang Woo(47 - 29(24) - 1) from Zhengzhou, China.  Both Imam and Woo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Palomarez, and the three ringside judges are Ignado Rota, Juan Sangil and Robert Lipat.  

Round 1: 

Woo feints a left, and then throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Woo feints a left hook, but Imam does not fall for it and is on target with a FEARSOME left uppercut.  WOO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Woo advances into close range.  Imam knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Imam lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES WOO!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Woo now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Imam is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.

Woo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Imam finds the target with a hard jab.  
Imam steps away from his opponent.  Woo connects with an overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Imam's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Woo's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Woo's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Woo closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Woo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Imam ties up his opponent.  Woo pushes his forearm into Imam's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Woo.  
Imam lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Woo is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Imam is on target with a firm right hook.  
Imam tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Imam circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Woo throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Woo is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Imam sidesteps and counters with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  WOO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.

Woo steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Imam dabs at his face checking for damage.

Imam steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.
