John Ross vs Peter McWhinnie

Boxing Daily Report from the Granite Chin Promotions promoted show at Celebrity Theatre, Phoenix,  taking place on 17/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ross (11(7) - 0) who hails from Mesa, USA and Peter McWhinnie(25(5) - 7(1)) from West Valley City, USA.  Ross weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces, while McWhinnie weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Oropeza, and the three ringside judges are John Charles, Richie Rezin and Lloyd Dougal.
