Zacarias Ayon vs Tajo Lainez

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at CC Las Malvinas, Lima,  taking place on 18/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Peru Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zacarias Ayon (35(31) - 7(7)) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Tajo Lainez(25 - 15(2) - 4) from Lima, Peru.  Both Ayon and Lainez weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rafael Vidal, and the three ringside judges are Bronco Aday, Ramiro Bautista and Emilio Triano.  

Round 1: 

Ayon advances into close range.  Ayon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lainez recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lainez sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ayon lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lainez attempts to land a jab, but Ayon dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ayon lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ayon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lainez throws a right hook, but Ayon holds on to his opponent.  Ayon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Ayon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lainez sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ayon lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lainez lands a cross.  
Ayon is on target with a FIERCE cross.  LAINEZ IS HURT!  Lainez quickly recovers. 
Ayon steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ayon is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Lainez pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lainez throws a right hook, but Ayon ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lainez pushes his forearm into Ayon's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ayon lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ayon lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Ayon is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Ayon gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ayon is looking to keep his distance.  Lainez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ayon lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ayon lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Ayon throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ayon drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ayon gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left hook.  Ayon attempts to land a left hook, but Lainez parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Ayon's body.  
Lainez pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ayon lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Lainez hits home with a cross.  
Ayon closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ayon walks his opponent into the red corner.  Ayon lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, right hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS LAINEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Ayon!
