Boxing Daily Report from the Viking Promotions promoted show at Katajanokka Sports Hall, Helsinki,  taking place on 25/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arto Vainikainen (15(11) - 0) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Hernan Merlin(29(1) - 16(6) - 1) from Lima, Peru.  Both Vainikainen and Merlin weighed in at 130 pounds.

Merlin pivots from in front of his opponent.  Vainikainen lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Vainikainen tries to keep the action at long range and SLAMS a BRUTAL cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE MERLIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Vainikainen stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Vainikainen lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS MERLIN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Vainikainen lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MERLIN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Merlin now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Merlin walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Merlin lands with a stinging jab.  Merlin tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a mean left uppercut.  MERLIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Merlin switches the action to the outside.  Vainikainen senses Merlin is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Vainikainen lands a hurtful cross.  MERLIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT MERLIN IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Vainikainen!
