Alejandro Nuno vs Diego Carrico

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul promoted show at Porto Alegre Amorim, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 21/08/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Nuno (13(1) - 3) who hails from Porto Alegre, Brazil and Diego Carrico(22 - 7(1) - 2) from Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Nuno weighed in at 122 pounds, while Carrico weighed in at 122 pounds and 15 ounces.    As Carrico came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Paco Formosa, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Soares, Santiago Gonsales and Joaquin Maldonado.
