Gabriel Cerda vs Esteban Sancho

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Vibra São Paulo, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 08/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gabriel Cerda (11(6) - 0) who hails from Goiania, Brazil and Esteban Sancho(12 - 22(1) - 7) from Belem, Brazil.  Both Cerda and Sancho weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ximen Espindola, and the three ringside judges are Leonel Rapoza, Zelipe Serpe and Vidal Raposa.  

Round 1: 

Cerda gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  Cerda ties up his opponent.  Cerda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Cerda throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Cerda advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Cerda clinches his opponent.  Cerda pushes his forearm into Sancho's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Sancho is looking to keep his distance.  Cerda drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Sancho tries to land a jab, but Cerda parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Cerda advances into close range and manouvers Sancho onto the ropes.  Cerda lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS SANCHO DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Sancho quickly recovers. 
Cerda steps inside.  Cerda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into Sancho's body.  
Cerda is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  Cerda holds on to his opponent.  Cerda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cerda uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sancho's kidney. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Cerda to stop holding.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sancho's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Cerda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cerda lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cerda clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cerda pushes his forearm into Sancho's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cerda to stop fouling.  
Cerda senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Sancho and just needs the right shot.  Cerda lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES SANCHO!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Sancho has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Cerda walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Cerda lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Cerda digs in a solid right hook to Sancho's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE SANCHO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Cerda is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Cerda crashes a hurtful right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  SANCHO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Sancho has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Sancho throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Cerda drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.
