Santiago Maldonado vs Xavion Pelaez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Manta Francisco, Manta,  taking place on 24/08/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Maldonado (9 - 13 - 1) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Xavion Pelaez(6 - 10) from Manta, Ecuador.  Both Maldonado and Pelaez weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Guerrero, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Cruz, Cris Victoria and Alano Enriques.
