Urvano Espana vs Jawad Hossain

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Philippine Arena, Santa Maria,  taking place on 20/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Asia-Oceania Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Urvano Espana (43(40) - 5(4) - 1(NC)) who hails from Santa Maria, Philippines and Jawad Hossain(29(3) - 3(3) - 1) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Both Espana and Hossain weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Macaroy, and the three ringside judges are Mason Acob, Berto Layumas and Ovidio Sugcang.  

Round 1: 

Hossain feints a right hook, and then throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Espana advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hossain recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hossain is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Espana steps inside and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Espana cuts off the ring, trapping Hossain on the ropes.  Hossain connects with a left hook.  Espana holds on to his opponent.  Espana is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Espana about fouling.  
Espana steps inside and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Espana clinches his opponent.  Espana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Espana is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  HOSSAIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hossain almost instantly recovers. 
Espana advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hossain tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Espana lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hossain almost instantly recovers. 
Espana forces Hossain to retreat onto the ropes.  Hossain digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Hossain attempts to land a left hook, but Espana parries the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Hossain's ribs.  
Espana drives a right hook into Hossain's body.  
Espana steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Hossain lands with a stiff jab.  
Hossain sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Hossain steps to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Espana drives a stinging right hook into Hossain's ribs.  Espana attempts to land a right hook, but Hossain blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hossain throws a left hook, but Espana clinches his opponent.  Hossain pushes his forearm into Espana's face.  The ref breaks Espana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hossain is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Espana gets on the inside and walks Hossain onto the ropes.  Espana connects with a stinging left hook.  
Espana drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Espana lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hossain lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hossain lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Espana hits the target with a solid jab.  
Espana closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Hossain is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Espana is on target with a VICIOUS cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE HOSSAIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Hossain quickly recovers. 
Espana steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS HOSSAIN DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Hossain is on target with a jab.

Espana walks Hossain into the corner.  Espana drives a sharp left hook into Hossain's ribs.  
Hossain hits home with a right hook.  Hossain throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Espana digs in a firm left uppercut to Hossain's body.  
Espana is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Espana advances into close range.  Hossain throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Espana ties up his opponent.  Espana leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
