Vegas Cano vs Jerrold Cerda

Boxing Daily Report from the Bungu Promotions promoted show at Reynosa Tagle, Reynosa,  taking place on 30/08/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vegas Cano (2 - 8 - 1) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Jerrold Cerda(8 - 17(2) - 3) from Ciudad Victoria, Mexico.  Cano weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces, while Cerda weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edmundo Tierno, and the three ringside judges are Isidro Morena, Santiago Lopez and Dario Zepeda.  

Round 1: 

Cerda is on target with a cross.
