Fausto Corong vs John Sumulong

Boxing Daily Report from the Phiri Promotions promoted show at Imus Estigoy, Imus,  taking place on 31/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fausto Corong (10 - 28(3) - 7) who hails from Imus, Philippines and John Sumulong(2 - 1 - 2) from Dasmarinas, Philippines.  Corong weighed in at 135 pounds, while Sumulong weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montenegro Padagas, and the three ringside judges are Joey Dato, Ellis Suguitan and Santiago Taguinod.
