Dawid Kolenda vs Metody Czajka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Poland-Pomeranian promoted show at Gdynia Grabiec, Gdynia,  taking place on 28/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Poland-Pomeranian Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dawid Kolenda (6 - 8(1)) who hails from Gdansk, Poland and Metody Czajka(21(14) - 6(5)) from Gdynia, Poland.  Both Kolenda and Czajka weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wojtek Zagata, and the three ringside judges are Tomasz Kosik, Alojzy Grodzicki and Dominik Boros.  

Round 1: 

Czajka advances into close range.  Czajka pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.

Czajka pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kolenda throws a left hook, but Czajka ties up his opponent.  Kolenda pushes his forearm into Czajka's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Czajka lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Czajka holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Czajka pushes his forearm into Kolenda's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Czajka manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Czajka throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Czajka ties up his opponent.  Czajka is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Czajka to stop fouling.

Czajka quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kolenda throws a left hook, but Czajka clinches his opponent.  Kolenda is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Czajka uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kolenda behind the head. Czajka uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kolenda's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Czajka.  
Czajka lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Czajka sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kolenda almost instantly gets his legs back.

Kolenda steps away from his opponent.  Czajka lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Czajka gets on the inside.  Kolenda throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Czajka forces Kolenda to back into the ropes.  Czajka pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Czajka advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kolenda's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Czajka is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Czajka hits home with a right uppercut.  Czajka attempts to land a right hook, but Kolenda blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Czajka drives a left hook into Kolenda's body.  
Czajka is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kolenda dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Czajka connects with a firm right hook.  
Czajka steps inside.  Czajka pivots to the left of his opponent.  Czajka throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Czajka clinches his opponent.  Kolenda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Czajka connects with a left hook.  
Czajka pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a WICKED left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KOLENDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kolenda recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Czajka connects with a left hook.  
Czajka lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Czajka hits home with a cross.  
Czajka pivots to the side of his opponent.  Czajka lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Czajka clinches his opponent.  Kolenda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Czajka pushes his forearm into Kolenda's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Czajka about fouling.  
Czajka lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Czajka lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Czajka has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Czajka connects with a WICKED left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KOLENDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Czajka knows Kolenda is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Czajka lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Czajka!
