Cody Liebenberg vs Basten Venter

Boxing Daily Report from the Wicker promoted show at Soshanguve Mabena, Soshanguve,  taking place on 05/09/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Liebenberg (33(3) - 21(11)) who hails from Mamelodi, South Africa and Basten Venter(12(1) - 0) from Katlehong, South Africa.  Both Liebenberg and Venter weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ndumisa Ntuli, and the three ringside judges are Amon Makwetla, Luvolwethu Motupa and Aenas Van der Walt.
