John Conant vs Ponce Orrantia

Boxing Daily Report from the Fernando Hearn promoted show at Coral Springs Marrufo, Coral Springs,  taking place on 05/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Florida Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Conant (1 - 8 - 1) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Ponce Orrantia(9 - 5(2)) from Orlando, USA.  Conant weighed in at 104 pounds and 14 ounces, while Orrantia weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Matteson, and the three ringside judges are Robert Armstrong, Paul Bason and Javier Resendiz.
