Dave Littlejohn vs Alberto Bernacchi

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Tattershall Club, Brisbane,  taking place on 18/08/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dave Littlejohn (6 - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Alberto Bernacchi(1 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Littlejohn and Bernacchi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Kindrick, and the three ringside judges are Chris Weir, Neil Pembroke and Lee Hyland.  

Round 1: 

Littlejohn gets on the inside.  Littlejohn hits home with a right hook.  
Littlejohn lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Littlejohn pivots to the left of his opponent.  Littlejohn is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Littlejohn clinches his opponent.  Littlejohn pushes his forearm into Bernacchi's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Littlejohn voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bernacchi accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Littlejohn.  
Bernacchi feints a cross, tricking Littlejohn into countering with a right uppercut.  Bernacchi springs the trap and counters with  a right hook.  
Littlejohn is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Bernacchi's liver.  
Bernacchi steps to the outside.  Littlejohn lands a firm cross.  
Littlejohn gets on the inside and connects with a firm left hook.  
Littlejohn closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to Bernacchi's body.  Littlejohn attempts to land a right hook, but Bernacchi dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Littlejohn lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Bernacchi steps away from his opponent.  Bernacchi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Littlejohn finds the target with a jab.  
Littlejohn closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.

Bernacchi throws a left hook, but Littlejohn clinches his opponent.  Littlejohn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Littlejohn to stop fouling.
