Andy Blevens vs Gus Harkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Badoe Promotions promoted show at Indianapolis Lorimer, Indianapolis,  taking place on 07/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Indiana Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andy Blevens (22 - 10(2) - 2) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and Gus Harkins(7 - 12 - 1) from Fort Wayne, USA.  Both Blevens and Harkins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Reach, and the three ringside judges are Will Oliver, Mike Watterson and Zach Greenway.  

Round 1: 

Blevens sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Blevens steps away from his opponent.  Harkins feints a jab and triggers a left uppercut counter from Blevens.  Harkins is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Blevens is on target with a cross.  
Blevens pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.

Blevens closes the distance.  Blevens sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Blevens throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Harkins time to recover.
