Bart Mabin vs Rob Cour

Boxing Daily Report from the Greedy Promotions promoted show at Bartow Arena, Birmingham,  taking place on 25/08/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Bart Mabin (2(1) - 0) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Rob Cour(3 - 2 - 1) from Nashville, USA.  Both Mabin and Cour weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Glasford, and the three ringside judges are Owen Belliston, Ian Anderson and Brin Prentis.  

Round 1: 

Mabin steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Mabin ties up his opponent.  Mabin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Cour's kidney. 
Mabin lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mabin gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Mabin drives a right hook into Cour's body.  Mabin ties up his opponent.  Mabin pushes his forearm into Cour's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mabin steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mabin gets on the inside.  Cour throws a left hook, but Mabin ties up his opponent.  Mabin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mabin and breaks the clinch.  
Mabin advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mabin drives a stinging left uppercut into Cour's ribs.  
Mabin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Mabin closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Mabin drives a left hook into Cour's ribs.  
Mabin attempts to land a cross, but Cour dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cour switches the action to the outside.  Mabin lands two overhand left's to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Mabin cuts off the ring, trapping Cour in the blue corner.  Mabin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cour tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mabin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cour finds the target with a jab.  
Mabin hits home with a firm left hook.  
Mabin closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Cour's ribs.  
Mabin attempts to land a jab, but Cour slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cour's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Cour quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Mabin throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Cour time to recover.  
Cour steps to the outside.  Mabin lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Mabin is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to Cour's ribs.  
Mabin digs in a firm right uppercut to Cour's body.  
Mabin drives a sharp left hook into Cour's ribs.  
Cour is looking to keep his distance.  Mabin strikes his opponents body with a sharp cross.

Mabin lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
