Bryan Gettings vs John Lyn

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bahamas-New Providence promoted show at Nassau Struthers, Nassau,  taking place on 15/09/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas-New Providence Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bryan Gettings (3 - 3(2) - 1) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and John Lyn(1 - 7(1)) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Gettings and Lyn weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Blair, and the three ringside judges are Adam Priddy, Antwan Young and Rex Ledingham.  

Round 1: 

Gettings steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Lyn is looking to close the distance.  Gettings digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.

As Lyn tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Gettings.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
