Andy Cavanah vs Dave McTavish

Boxing Daily Report from the Harvey Parker promoted show at Bradford Sports Centre, Bradford,  taking place on 17/09/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andy Cavanah (9 - 16(6) - 2) who hails from Preston, UK and Dave McTavish(15(1) - 2) from Middlesbrough, UK.  Both Cavanah and McTavish weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley Hughes, and the three ringside judges are Nick Russell, Arnie Berne and Jamie McNabb.  

Round 1: 

McTavish finds the target with a jab.  
McTavish advances into close range and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
McTavish pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
McTavish pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm right uppercut to Cavanah's body.  
McTavish is on target with a right uppercut.  
McTavish tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

McTavish steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Cavanah accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on McTavish.

Cavanah is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but McTavish ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McTavish pushes his forearm into Cavanah's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McTavish to stop fouling.

You can sense the frustration from Cavanah now.   He steps inside, but then strikes McTavish with his head!  The ref halts the action and sends McTavish to the neutral corner.    He tells Cavanah to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.  
McTavish lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  McTavish ties up his opponent.  McTavish leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Cavanah recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McTavish gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McTavish steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
McTavish is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  McTavish lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Cavanah now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
