Abdul Khallil vs Amjad Nasri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jordan-Zarqa promoted show at Zarqa Bashir, Zarqa,  taking place on 17/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jordan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on JTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Abdul Khallil (19(15) - 3(3)) who hails from Zarqa, Jordan and Amjad Nasri(22 - 5(1)) from Irbid, Jordan.  Khallil weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces, while Nasri weighed in at 146 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Jabr, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Adib, Umair Ben and Adnan Farra.  

Round 1: 

Khallil drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Khallil hits home with a cross.  
Nasri advances into close range.  Khallil lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Khallil dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Khallil switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Khallil lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Khallil tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Nasri lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Khallil clinches his opponent.  Nasri uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Khallil behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Nasri advances into close range.  Khallil pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Nasri manouvers Khallil onto the ropes.  Nasri throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Nasri attempts to land a right uppercut, but Khallil parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Khallil tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nasri tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Khallil lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Nasri advances into close range and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Khallil blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Khallil steps to the outside.  Khallil sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Khallil lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Nasri is looking to close the distance and forces Khallil to retreat onto the ropes.  Nasri attempts to land a right uppercut, but Khallil slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Khallil is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Khallil hits home with a solid jab.  
Nasri closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Khallil steps to the outside and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Nasri is looking to close the distance.  Khallil pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Nasri's body.  
Khallil is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Nasri hits home with a cross.  
Nasri advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to Khallil's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nasri's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Nasri's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Nasri is looking to close the distance.  Khallil pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Khallil tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Khallil thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Nasri away.  Khallil DETONATES a mean right hook on his opponents face.  NASRI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Khallil connects with a hurtful cross.  NASRI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Nasri now seems to have his senses back.  
Khallil lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Khallil tries to keep the action at long range and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Khallil lands a cross.  
Khallil tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head, AND SENDS NASRI TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Nasri can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Khallil!
