Michael Mings vs Mark Sweeney

Boxing Daily Report from the puppybundy promoted show at Michael Malloye Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 17/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Mings (10 - 14(3) - 5) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Mark Sweeney(5 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Mings weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces, while Sweeney weighed in at 121 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Duane, and the three ringside judges are Colin McKay, Bradley Hammill and Steven Webb.  

Round 1: 

Mings lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sweeney advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mings is on target with a left hook.  
Mings quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Sweeney drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Mings steps inside.  Sweeney wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mings dabs at his face checking for damage.
