Alejandro Machuca vs Ivan Monte

Boxing Daily Report from the Khumalo Promotions promoted show at Alano Rapoza Gym, Manaus,  taking place on 18/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Amazonas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Machuca (8 - 8 - 2) who hails from Manaus, Brazil and Ivan Monte(20 - 2 - 2) from Manaus, Brazil.  Both Machuca and Monte weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reyes Monteiro, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Pires, Reyes Monteiro and Lisandro Saraiva.  

Round 1: 

Monte is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Monte closes the distance and manages to force Machuca into a neutral corner.  Monte digs in a left hook to Machuca's body.
