Jordan Purves vs John Tod

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Gregor Condie Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 18/09/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Purves (5 - 9(1) - 4) who hails from Calgary, Canada and John Tod(3 - 10(1) - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Purves weighed in at 134 pounds And 11 ounces, while Tod weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Haddow, and the three ringside judges are Dale Biggs, Connor Bonnie and Paul Belan.
