Guy Apollinaire vs Jay Jacques

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Haiti-Nord-Ouest promoted show at Global Gym, Port-de-Paix,  taking place on 24/09/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Haiti-Nord-Ouest Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Guy Apollinaire (4 - 13(1)) who hails from Port-de-Paix, Haiti and Jay Jacques(9 - 11(1) - 3) from Port-de-Paix, Haiti.  Both Apollinaire and Jacques weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Circinus Ader, and the three ringside judges are Corbin Belgard, Pernell Gayet and Boden Cohen.  

Round 1: 

Apollinaire steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Jacques pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.
