Silvano Fabbri vs Claudio Folena

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Lombardy promoted show at Milan Ogbonna, Milan,  taking place on 27/09/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Lombardy Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Silvano Fabbri (7 - 12(1)) who hails from Milan, Italy and Claudio Folena(15 - 11 - 2) from Milan, Italy.  Fabbri weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces, while Folena weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Savio Flocco, and the three ringside judges are Pepe Grifone, Francesco Parodi and Alberto Formisano.  

Round 1: 

Fabbri tries to step out of his opponents range.  Folena hits home with an overhand right.  
Folena throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Folena gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  As Folena tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fabbri dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Fabbri.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Folena dabs at his face checking for damage.  Folena has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a cut above the right eye.  .
