Xhosas Chelimo vs Ian Marende

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Connor Ogindo Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 27/09/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xhosas Chelimo (5 - 7 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Ian Marende(9 - 7 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Chelimo and Marende weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bob Mbiyu, and the three ringside judges are Duncan Wakihuri, Shaun Chelangat and Lisimba Kimeli.
