Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Kurumeza Theatre, Kurume,  taking place on 01/10/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Fukuoka Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shinji Fukuda (30 - 12(2) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Shinji Kawata(20 - 2 - 1) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Fukuda weighed in at 236 pounds and 1 ounces, while Kawata weighed in at 228 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ryuu Komatsu, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Kusumoto, Hisao Kamei and Ryo Higuchi.
