Rodrigo Valera vs Vicente Alvarado

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guanajuato promoted show at Jigarkhanian Gym, Irapuato,  taking place on 01/10/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Guanajuato Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Valera (33(1) - 1) who hails from Irapuato, Mexico and Vicente Alvarado(22 - 18 - 4) from Irapuato, Mexico.  Both Valera and Alvarado weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antonio Tavera, and the three ringside judges are Xavion Chavarria, Diego Pozo and Angel Villafranca.
