John Catubig vs Santiago Malpaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Obodom Promotions promoted show at Cagayan de Oro Abarca, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 01/10/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Catubig (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Santiago Malpaya(13 - 15(3) - 5) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Catubig weighed in at 135 pounds, while Malpaya weighed in at 134 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tajo Lagasca, and the three ringside judges are Bronco Sibug, Jose De Anda and Marjun Baylon.
