Sergei Smyslov vs Aleksandr Pavlov

Boxing Daily Report from the Assiful Promotions promoted show at Evgeny Glushakov Gym, Prokopyevsk,  taking place on 01/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Kemerovo Oblast Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sergei Smyslov (13 - 11(3) - 2) who hails from Kemerovo, Russia and Aleksandr Pavlov(27(7) - 9) from Prokopyevsk, Russia.  Both Smyslov and Pavlov weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sergey Tverdovsky, and the three ringside judges are Boris Chaplin, Luka Ukhov and Gennady Shatov.  

Round 1: 

Pavlov gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Pavlov hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Pavlov throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Pavlov clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Pavlov pushes his forearm into Smyslov's face.  The referee warns Pavlov and breaks the clinch.
