Chris Barco vs Brett Matute

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-South Cotabato promoted show at Santiago Albarado Gym, General Santos,  taking place on 02/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-South Cotabato Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Barco (14 - 12 - 5) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Brett Matute(7 - 11(1) - 4) from General Santos, Philippines.  Both Barco and Matute weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ovidio Kabaitan, and the three ringside judges are Zelipe Lobato, Orlando Bacallao and Cipriano Ouano.  

Round 1: 

Barco lands a cross.
