John Steedman vs Connor Cumming

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkrumah Promotions promoted show at Patrick Roller Gym, Albuquerque,  taking place on 04/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Mexico Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Steedman (5(1) - 0) who hails from Albuquerque, USA and Connor Cumming(24(2) - 9 - 3) from Albuquerque, USA.  Both Steedman and Cumming weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jacob Yuille, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Prior, Ewan Carmen and Waqas Saah.  

Round 1: 

Cumming attempts to land an overhand right, but Steedman slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
